The first of the classic GERRY ANDERSON shows that we produced High End Die Cast vehicles from was SUPERCAR.

The detail on this Die Cast model was outstanding. Featuring authentic paint scheme, real chrome trim as well as a detailed interior featuring Mike Mercury at the controls.

SUPERCAR also came with a metal display stand and pull-out card in-flight cloud diorama to further enhance the display.

A big thank you to Tony James of Comet Miniatures whose own Die Cast SUPERCAR model, due to its accuracy and quality, granted us its use as the prototype for this release, kicking off the first of our extensive run of Gerry Anderson Die Cast collectibles.

So successful was this first release, we decided to produce a Special Edition version featuring a Black & White colourway of SUPERCAR as viewers would have seen it on the TV screen back in 1961.

This was harder to achieve than expected, utilizing different shades of grey, but the final result was exceptional.

Our distributor in Japan at the time was the Penguin Corporation. Completely different packaging for this territory was produced which featured photographic images of the actual vehicle rather than the original artwork used in all other territories.

An all-time classic collectible which is yet to be beat for is authenticity and accuracy.
